Democrats’ campaign committee would support Lloyd Doggett over Joaquin Castro in possible primary showdown

Steve Israel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said Friday that national Democrats would support Rep. Lloyd Doggett as an incumbent in a potential primary race for a new Texas congressional district against Joaquin Castro of San Antonio.
